Renton Children’s Business Fair
The Renton Children’s Business Fair is a one-day event that empowers young entrepreneurs to develop creativity, confidence, and business skills by launching their own small businesses. Kids create products, set up booths, and sell to real customers in a fun, supportive environment. Hosted by a local community member passionate about youth entrepreneurship, this event provides children with hands-on experience in financial literacy, marketing, and customer engagement. By fostering innovation and leadership at an early age, the fair inspires the next generation of business owners while bringing families and the community together.
At the fair, kids ages 6-17 work hard to create unique businesses—selling handmade jewelry, upcycled clothing, baked goods, pottery, and more. We hope you’ll show support and cheer them on as they showcase their creativity and hard work.
Over the next ten years, the Renton Children’s Business Fair aims to become a regular, must-attend event, happening multiple times per year. This project wants to be something kids, parents, and educators look forward to and pass down to the next generation. As it grows, Renton Children’s Business Fair will become a place where schools and education programs are a be part of the community, connecting with families and helping kids build real-world skills.
