Helen House
At Helen House, we envision a inclusive community where all LGBTQ+ people are welcomed, valued, recognized and celebrated for who they are.
Founded in 2019, providing enrichment activities, access to food, a computer lab, gender-affirming clothing, and a caring community, Helen House is the only space in Kittitas County dedicated to supporting, advocating for, and providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth. Helen House is a drop-in center where LGBTQ+ youth and young adults, ages 13 to 24, can positively engage with peers and supportive adults in a safe, empowering environment. All our programs are volunteer-run and our services are offered free of charge.
In addition to our drop-in hours, Helen House provides monthly meeting space for families and significant adults in the lives of LGBTQ+ children, youth, and young adults as well as a bi-weekly support group setting for Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming individuals.
