March for Science - Seattle

March for Science - Seattle champions robustly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. They call for Cascadians to unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence based policies in the public interest.

March for Science - Seattle's goal is to create an open and welcoming organization to connect scientists and non-scientists in order to improve scientific understanding throughout the general public. They’d like to help bring science back to being a people's issue, and something that everyone values. Seattle March for Science is a place to encourage discussion and learning between scientists and non-scientists on a local and personal level. Seattle March for Science wants to break the perceptions of a “scientific elite” and give science back to the people, show everyone that scientists are working people too, and that they are our neighbors and colleagues.
