Welcome Vibrant Palette Arts Center as Our New Fiscally Sponsored Project

The CascadiaNow! family keeps on growing and this time our board of directors has unanimously accepted Vibrant Palette Arts Center as our newest project. To fulfill their mission of serving "adult artists with developmental, mental, and physical disabilities by providing a professional studio environment for artistic growth in a social atmosphere among peers," Vibrant Palette Arts Center (VPAC) fosters "a creative space in which these artists can experience fulfillment through self-expression, and foster community engagement through exhibition of the artists’ work."

VPAC will be providing a six hour structured day program. Program activities will include studio time for painting and clay mediums, guest art teachers, and community outings to local galleries/museums to have our program participants learn about the creative processes and experiences of other artists. VPAC will host three art shows per year showcasing and selling our artists’ work with a 50% commission that is funded back into their organization.

Thanks to a partnership with Pratt Fine Arts Center, VPAC's studio space for artists will be at 1902 S Main St, Seattle. Classes will be held very Wednesday beginning January, 2017. Applications will be available online beginning October, 2016.
