The Second Cascadia Association Football Federation General Meeting was held March 13th via Google+ Hangout, and by all accounts it was a great success! Lots of great developments and ideas to get excited about! More on that to come soon.
The big thing to announce is the election of a new Board Members. Aaron Johnsen, formally serving on the board as Treasurer, was elected President while keeping Treasurer duties for the time being. Nate Jensen was elected Vice President, Brandon Letsinger was elected Secretary as well as being appointed to head the Publicity Committee and Fundraising Team. Abram Armstron (former Vice President) and Lenny Laymon (former President) will stay on board as voting Advisory Board Members. We would also like to announce that John Crouch and his coaching staff at South Sound FC will be the core coaching group going forward. We are seeing lots of other interest in the footballing side of things and are very excited for the future of the orgainzation. There was lots of talk at the meeting about planning for tryouts in various locations as well as potential friendlies with local club teams and international squads.
