CascadiaNow! is excited to share that the Seattle March for Science, one of CN's newest fiscally sponsored projects, was featured on the front page of the Seattle Times along with a picture of Cascadia Arts Collective members Erin Fox, Alan Sato and Eric Lobdell at work on the Resistance Rover, taking place at the Cascadia HQ (under construction).

Hook in! The Seattle Cascadia Arts Collective
For Cascadians in the Seattle area, we are very excited to share the creation of a Seattle Cascadia Arts Collective. Starting to help build an awesome float for the Fremont Solstice Parade, the SCAC grew out of the idea to represent Cascadia & CascadiaNow at events, and to use art as a force for positive social change throughout the Pacific Northwest. Active as an informal group of artists, poets, and Cascadians for the last two years, they are continued to grow in size and scope, officially becoming a core program of CascadiaNow! this year.

A Cascadia HQ
The Cascadia HQ is a renegade art and community space being built by members of Seattle CascadiaNow! to serve as shared offices, studio space for working artists, workshop space, as well as being large enough to host presentations, movies, potlucks, classes, art builds, storage and of course a parking space for the Cascadia bus, all within a space that can help show the principles of Cascadia, as well as teach.

Cascadia Convoy to Standing Rock
CascadiaNow! is very excited to announce that it has teamed up with the Backbone campaign to help answer the call for more people and support at #StandingRock. We will be sending two buses, including our own Cascadia Bus (privately owned, not actually by us - we just love it!), and another vehicle which will join with other relief vehicles headed out that way.
